Angela Lupis
Angela fell in love with Sign Language in her junior year of high school. Her English composition teacher would turn Fridays into teaching Sign Language, just for fun. Angela’s passion grew deeper after having her three children. Years later, she enrolled at a Saddleback Community College in the interpreting program. In the spring of 2008 she will be graduating with a degree in Behavioral Science and certification in Deaf Interpreting. She plans to continue her education and receive a Bachelors Degree in American Sign Language. In addition, she plans to obtain her teaching credentials.
In addition to being a My Smart Hands™ presenter, Angela’s goal is to work for the County as a Deaf Interpreter. It was because of her love of language and culture that she decided this was what she was meant to do. Angela is enthusiastic about sharing the benefits of signing with hearing infants and toddlers.
Angela is an Approved Member of Sign2Me, a Certified Level 1 Presenter and My Smart Hands instructor. She is committed to bringing the gift of signing into your family-a gift that will stay with you and your baby for a lifetime!
