What is unique about this app is that it is a video dictionary that not only shows you the ASL signs, but also explains how to do them or gives you great memory tips on how to remember and understand them. This app was created by My Smart Hands, an international baby sign language program with nearly 100 instructors in over 10 countries, under the direction of its founder Laura Berg. Laura has a BA in child studies, an M.Ed and a certificate in ASL and Deaf Studies. She is passionate about education and signing and has brought that passion to My Smart Hands.
Keep track of the signs you want to work on in your own favorites list, and arrange those signs in any order you like. We've included categories so you can quickly and easily find words that are related, like "food," "animals" and "daily routines." It comes with an easy search option, simply type in the word you are looking for and it will come up. And finally, the quiz portion will be great fun while you are learning all of the words in the MSH app. With our quiz you are able to customize the number of questions(?) in the quiz from 3-20 and you can also customize the difficulty by picking from 2, 3 or 4 answers. At the end of the quiz you can check your scorecard, view the signs you missed, and even add them to your favorites to work on later!
